Sukta 7.36
इमां वां मित्रावरुणा सुवृक्तिमिषं न कृण्वे असुरा नवीयः । इनो वामन्यः पदवीरदब्धो जनं च मित्रो यतति ब्रुवाणः ॥
imā́ṃ vāṃ mitrā́varuṇā su-vṛktím iṣáṃ ná kṛṇve asurā́ navī́yaḥ | inó vā́m anyáḥ padavī́r ádabdho jánaṃ ca mitró yatati bruvāṇáḥ ||
Cette louange bien tissée, je la façonne pour vous, ô Mitra et Varuṇa, telle une boisson nourrissante — un élan rafraîchissant, nouveau comme il vous sied, ô Asura. L’un de vous est l’Infaillible Traceur de voie, qui pose les pistes; et Mitra aussi, en prononçant la parole, règle et harmonise le peuple.
