Sukta 7.29
उतो घा ते पुरुष्या इदासन्येषां पूर्वेषामशृणोॠषीणाम् । अधाहं त्वा मघवञ्जोहवीमि त्वं न इन्द्रासि प्रमतिः पितेव ॥
utó ghā́ te puruṣyā̀ íd āsan yéṣāṃ pū́rveṣām áśṛṇo ṛ́ṣīṇām | ádhāháṃ tvā maghavan johavīmi tváṃ na indrāsi prámatíḥ pitā́iva ||
Et vraiment, tiennes étaient ces aides humaines — pour les anciens ṛṣi que tu as écoutés. C’est pourquoi je t’invoque maintenant, ô généreux (Maghavan) : tu es pour nous, ô Indra, un soin qui guide et une prévoyance sage, tel un père.
