एष स्तोमो मह उग्राय वाहे धुरीवात्यो न वाजयन्नधायि । इन्द्र त्वायमर्क ईट्टे वसूनां दिवीव द्यामधि नः श्रोमतं धाः ॥

Transliteration

eṣá stómो mahá ugrā́ya vā́he dhurī́v ā́tyo ná vājáyan adhāyi | índra tvā́yam arká ī́ṭṭe vásūnāṃ divī́va dyā́m ádhi naḥ śrómataṃ dhāḥ ||

Translation

Ce chant de louange est établi pour le grand, le redoutable, le Porteur : tel un coursier attelé, lancé vers la plénitude de force, il a été disposé. Ô Indra, cet ark te prie pour les richesses ; accorde-nous une écoute haute comme le ciel lui-même — une renommée posée sur le plan lumineux.
