वनस्पतेऽव सृजोप देवानग्निर्हविः शमिता सूदयाति । सेदु होता सत्यतरो यजाति यथा देवानां जनिमानि वेद ॥

Transliteration

vánaspate ’vá sṛjópa devā́n agnír havíḥ śamitā́ sūdayāti | séd u hotā́ satyá-taro yajāti yáthā devā́nāṃ jánimāni véda ||

Translation

Ô Seigneur du bois, fais descendre les dieux, fais-les s’approcher. Agni, l’ordonnateur de l’offrande, met l’oblation sur sa juste voie. Alors le Hotṛ, plus vrai dans la vérité, sacrifie, car il connaît les naissances et les devenirs des dieux.
