Sukta 4.55
देवैर्नो देव्यदितिर्नि पातु देवस्त्राता त्रायतामप्रयुच्छन् । नहि मित्रस्य वरुणस्य धासिमर्हामसि प्रमियं सान्वग्नेः ॥
deváir no devy áditir ní pātu devás trātā́ trāyatām áprayucchan | náhi mitrásya váruṇasya dhā́sím árhāmasi pramíyaṃ sā́nv agnéḥ ||
Que la Déesse Aditi nous protège avec les dieux ; que le Protecteur divin nous sauve sans défaillir. Car nous ne sommes pas dignes d’amoindrir les ordonnances établies de Mitra et de Varuṇa, ni de choir du sommet ferme du feu d’Agni.
