या ते अग्ने पर्वतस्येव धारासश्चन्ती पीपयद्देव चित्रा । तामस्मभ्यं प्रमतिं जातवेदो वसो रास्व सुमतिं विश्वजन्याम् ॥
yā́ te agne párvatasyeva dhā́rā́ asaścántī pī́payad deva citrā́ | tā́m asmábhyaṃ prámatim jātavedo vaso rā́sva sumatíṃ viśvájanyām ||
Ce flot qui est tien, ô Agni — tel l’élan d’un torrent de montagne —, sans cesse, aux formes multiples, qui fait prospérer tout être : donne-nous cette direction limpide, ô Jātavedas, ô Vasu ; accorde la bonne pensée, universelle, pour tous les peuples.
