Sukta 3.53
परशुं चिद्वि तपति शिम्बलं चिद्वि वृश्चति । उखा चिदिन्द्र येषन्ती प्रयस्ता फेनमस्यति ॥
paraśúṃ cid ví tapati śimbaláṃ cid ví vṛścati | ukhā́ cid indra yéṣantī prá-yastā phénam asyati ||
Même une hache, elle la fait flamboyer; même un śimbala, elle le tranche en deux. Même le pot du foyer, ô Indra, lorsqu’on le pousse en avant et qu’on le met à l’œuvre, projette l’écume — ainsi que ta force anime en nous les instruments inertes et les rende victorieux.
