अग्निं सूनुं सनश्रुतं सहसो जातवेदसम् । वह्निं देवा अकृण्वत ॥
Transliteration
agníṃ sūnúṃ sanaśrútaṃ sáhaso jā́tavedasam | váhniṃ devā́ akṛṇvata ||
Translation
Agni, fils de Sahas (la Force), célébré depuis l’ancien temps, Jātavedas, connaisseur des naissances — les dieux en firent le Vahni, la puissance porteuse, le porteur. Ainsi les Puissances divines établissent en nous le Feu capable de porter l’offrande et le devenir.
