Sukta 2.26
स इज्जनेन स विशा स जन्मना स पुत्रैर्वाजं भरते धना नृभिः । देवानां यः पितरमाविवासति श्रद्धामना हविषा ब्रह्मणस्पतिम् ॥
sá íj jánena sá viśā́ sá jánmanā sá putráir vā́jaṃ bharate dhánā nṛ́bhiḥ | devā́nāṃ yáḥ pitáram ā́vivāsati śraddhā́-manā havíṣā bráhmaṇas pátim ||
Lui, certes, est soutenu par les gens, par la communauté, par la naissance même ; par ses fils il apporte la plénitude de la force, et par les hommes les richesses de l’être—celui qui, l’esprit de foi, sert et accueille le Père des dieux, Brahmaṇaspati, par l’offrande.
