सचा यदासु जहतीष्वत्कममानुषीषु मानुषो निषेवे । अप स्म मत्तरसन्ती न भुज्युस्ता अत्रसन्रथस्पृशो नाश्वाः ॥

Transliteration

sacā́ yád āsu jáhatīṣv átkam amā́nuṣīṣu mā́nuṣo niṣévē | ápa sma mát tarásantī ná bhujyús tā́ atrasan ratha-spṛ́śo ná’śvā́ḥ ||

Translation

Mais lorsque, parmi ces élans non humains, l’homme cherche à demeurer—quand elles abandonnent l’enveloppe mortelle—elles ne tiennent pas: effrayées, elles fuient loin de moi, comme des chevaux frôlant le char et qui s’écartent.
