स पित्र्याण्यायुधानि विद्वानिन्द्रेषित आप्त्यो अभ्ययुध्यत् । त्रिशीर्षाणं सप्तरश्मिं जघन्वान्त्वाष्ट्रस्य चिन्निः ससृजे त्रितो गाः ॥

sá pitryā́ṇy ā́yudhāni vidvā́n indr-eṣitá ā́ptyo abhý ayudhyat | tri-śīrṣā́ṇaṃ saptá-raśmiṃ jaghánvān tvāṣṭrásya cín níḥ sasṛje tritó gā́ḥ ||

Lui, connaissant les puissances ancestrales comme des armes, l’Āptya poussé par Indra, livra combat. Ayant abattu le Tricéphale aux sept rayons, Trita délivra — oui, jusque de la formation de Tvaṣṭṛ — les vaches, les rayons de lumière et de connaissance.
