Sukta 1.85
आ वो वहन्तु सप्तयो रघुष्यदो रघुपत्वानः प्र जिगात बाहुभिः । सीदता बर्हिरुरु वः सदस्कृतं मादयध्वं मरुतो मध्वो अन्धसः ॥
ā́ vo vahantu saptáyo raghuṣyádo raghu-pátvānaḥ prá jigāta bā́hubhiḥ | sī́datā bárhir urú vaḥ sádaḥ-kṛtáṃ mā́dayadhvaṃ maruto mádhvo ándhasaḥ ||
Que les sept coursiers rapides vous portent ici — prompts à monter, prompts à voler; avancez avec des bras de puissance. Asseyez-vous sur le vaste Barhis sacré, sur le siège préparé pour vous; ô Maruts, enivrez-vous de l’essence miellée, de la délectation qui nourrit l’âme.
