Sukta 1.57
इमे त इन्द्र ते वयं पुरुष्टुत ये त्वारभ्य चरामसि प्रभूवसो । नहि त्वदन्यो गिर्वणो गिरः सघत्क्षोणीरिव प्रति नो हर्य तद्वचः ॥
imé ta indra te vayáṃ puruṣṭuta yé tvā́rabhya cárāmasi prabhūvaso | náhi tvád anyó girvaṇo gíraḥ sághat kṣoṇī́r iva práti no harya tád vácaḥ ||
Ceux-ci sont les tiens, ô Indra; et ceux-ci, c’est nous, ô Très-loué — nous qui, nous agrippant à toi, avançons dans ta souveraineté, ô riche en puissance. Car nul autre que toi, ô ami des hymnes, ne peut porter nos chants comme la Terre porte les fardeaux; reçois donc cette parole de nous, ô Hari.
