जुष्टो हि दूतो असि हव्यवाहनोऽग्ने रथीरध्वराणाम् । सजूरश्विभ्यामुषसा सुवीर्यमस्मे धेहि श्रवो बृहत् ॥
júṣṭo hí dūtó ási havyavā́hano 'gné rathī́r adhvarā́ṇām | sajū́r aśvíbhyām uṣásā suvī́ryam asmḗ dhēhi śrávo bṛhát ||
Car tu es le messager agréé, ô Agni, porteur de l’offrande, cocher des voies du sacrifice. D’un même accord avec les Aśvins et avec Uṣas, dépose en nous la vaillance de noble lignée et une vaste renommée qui élève.
