Sukta 1.129
वनेम तद्धोत्रया चितन्त्या वनेम रयिं रयिवः सुवीर्यं रण्वं सन्तं सुवीर्यम् । दुर्मन्मानं सुमन्तुभिरेमिषा पृचीमहि । आ सत्याभिरिन्द्रं द्युम्नहूतिभिर्यजत्रं द्युम्नहूतिभिः ॥
vanéma tád hotráyā citántyā vanéma rayím rayivaḥ suvī́ryaṁ raṇváṁ sántaṁ suvī́ryam | durmánmānaṁ sumántubhir ém iṣā́ pṛcīmahi | ā́ satyā́bhir índraṁ dyumnáhūtibhir yájatram dyumnáhūtibhiḥ ||
Puissions-nous obtenir cela par l’offrande sacerdotale et par la pensée attentive ; puissions-nous gagner la plénitude (rayi), ô maîtres de la plénitude, la vaillance héroïque, joyeuse et bien réelle. La mauvaise pensée, nous la rencontrerons et la vaincrons par de bonnes intentions, en y joignant l’élan de la quête. Par des appels véridiques nous rapprochons Indra, l’Adorable, par des appels pleins d’éclat.
