एते सोमा अति वाराण्यव्या दिव्या न कोशासो अभ्रवर्षाः । वृथा समुद्रं सिन्धवो न नीचीः सुतासो अभि कलशाँ असृग्रन् ॥

eté sómā áti vārā́ṇy avyā́ divyā́ na kośā́so abhrá-varṣāḥ | vṛ́thā samudráṃ síndhavo na nīcī́ḥ sutā́so abhí kalaśā́ṃ asṛgran ||

Estas corrientes de Soma pasan más allá de los filtros de lana, como vasijas celestes que vierten desde la nube. Con fuerza, como ríos que descienden hacia el océano, los (jugos) exprimidos han corrido a las tinajas — a los recipientes de custodia.
