प्र त आशवः पवमान धीजवो मदा अर्षन्ति रघुजा इव त्मना । दिव्याः सुपर्णा मधुमन्त इन्दवो मदिन्तमासः परि कोशमासते ॥

prá ta āśávaḥ pavamāna dhī-jávo madā́ arṣanti raghujā́ iva tmánā | divyā́ḥ suparṇā́ mádhu-manta índavo madíntamāsaḥ pári kóśam āsate ||

Hacia delante se precipitan tus raudas corrientes, oh Soma purificado: impulsos movidos por el pensamiento inspirado, corren por su propia fuerza de alma como corredores. Las gotas divinas, de bellas alas, llenas de miel, las más embriagadoras en el gozo, se asientan en torno al vaso que contiene.
