स राजसि पुरुष्टुतँ एको वृत्राणि जिघ्नसे । इन्द्र जैत्रा श्रवस्या च यन्तवे ॥

sá rājasi puruṣṭutā́m̐ éko vṛtrā́ṇi jighnase | índra jáitrā śravasyā̀ ca yántave ||

Tú reinas en los espacios del cielo, oh muy alabado; tú solo derribas a los Vṛtra, las resistencias que cercan. Ven a nosotros, Indra, trayendo victoria y la fama creciente del espíritu vencedor.
