Transliteration

ā daivyā́ vṛṇīmahe’vā́ṃsi bṛ́haspátir no mahá ā́ sakhāyaḥ | yáthā bhávema mīḷhúṣe ánāgā yó no dātā́ parāvátaḥ pitā́iva ||

Translation

Escogemos y llamamos hacia nosotros las ayudas divinas; que se acerque a nosotros Bṛhaspati, nuestro poderoso Amigo, oh compañeros — para que quedemos sin falta ante el Dador generoso, aquel que desde la lejanía más allá nos otorga como un padre.
