Sukta 7.9
स सुक्रतुर्यो वि दुरः पणीनां पुनानो अर्कं पुरुभोजसं नः । होता मन्द्रो विशां दमूनास्तिरस्तमो ददृशे राम्याणाम् ॥
sa sukrátur yó ví dúraḥ paṇīnām punānáḥ arkáṃ purubhójasam naḥ | hotā mandró viśā́m damū́nās tirás támo dadṛśe rāmyā́ṇām ||
Él, el Sukratu, poder del recto discernimiento, abre de par en par las puertas de los Paṇis (acaparadores de la luz interior); purificándose, hace brotar para nosotros la llama inspirada de la Palabra, que alimenta muchas potencias. Hotar gozoso y luminoso de los pueblos, morador del hogar (damūnās), se le ve más allá de la oscuridad, entre los deleitosos (rāmyāṇām).
