सद्यो अध्वरे रथिरं जनन्त मानुषासो विचेतसो य एषाम् । विशामधायि विश्पतिर्दुरोणेऽग्निर्मन्द्रो मधुवचा ऋतावा ॥
sadyó adhvaré rathiráṁ jananta mā́nuṣāso vi-cétaso yá eṣām | viśā́m adhāyi viśpátir duroṇé'gnír mandró mádhuvacā ṛtā́vā ||
Al instante, en el sacrificio, los mortales perspicaces engendran el carro veloz del camino. Agni es asentado en la morada como señor de los pueblos: gozoso, de palabra melíflua, guardián del Ṛta.
