प्रति वां रथं नृपती जरध्यै हविष्मता मनसा यज्ञियेन । यो वां दूतो न धिष्ण्यावजीगरच्छा सूनुर्न पितरा विवक्मि ॥
práti vāṃ ráthaṃ nṛpatī jaradhyái havíṣmatā mánasā yajñíyena | yó vāṃ dū́to ná dhiṣṇyā́v ajī́gar acchā́ sūnúr ná pitarā́ vivakmi ||
Hacia vuestro carro, oh señores de los hombres, dirijo mi pensamiento — con la ofrenda, con mente digna del sacrificio, para vuestra gozosa acogida. Como mensajero hacia los dos asientos firmes me apresuro; como un hijo a sus padres, a vosotros os hablo.
