Sukta 7.62
प्र बाहवा सिसृतं जीवसे न आ नो गव्यूतिमुक्षतं घृतेन । आ नो जने श्रवयतं युवाना श्रुतं मे मित्रावरुणा हवेमा ॥
prá bā́havā sisṛtaṃ jīváse na ā́ no gavyū́tim ukṣataṃ ghṛténa | ā́ no jáne śravayataṃ yuvānā śrutáṃ me mitrāvaruṇā havé mā ||
Extended vuestros brazos hacia delante para nuestra vida; derramad sobre nosotros el camino de los rebaños luminosos, con la riqueza clarificada (ghṛta). Haced que nuestro nombre sea oído entre los hombres, oh potencias juveniles; escuchad mi llamado, oh Mitra y Varuṇa, en el mismo acto de invocar.
