Sukta 7.61
उद्वां चक्षुर्वरुण सुप्रतीकं देवयोरेति सूर्यस्ततन्वान् । अभि यो विश्वा भुवनानि चष्टे स मन्युं मर्त्येष्वा चिकेत ॥
úd vāṃ cákṣur varuṇa suprátīkaṃ deváyor eti sū́ryas tatanvā́n | abhí yó víśvā bhúvanāni cáṣṭe sá manyúṃ mártyeṣv ā́ ciket ||
Se alza tu ojo, oh Varuṇa: Sūrya de hermosa forma, que avanza para los dos dioses, desplegando su resplandor. Él, que contempla todos los mundos, reconoce en los mortales los impulsos y las pasiones turbias.
