Sukta 7.54
वास्तोष्पते प्रतरणो न एधि गयस्फानो गोभिरश्वेभिरिन्दो । अजरासस्ते सख्ये स्याम पितेव पुत्रान्प्रति नो जुषस्व ॥
vā́stoḥ pate pra-táraṇo na edhi gaya-sphā́no góbhir áśvebhir indo | ajárāsas te sakhyé syāma pitḗva putrā́n práti no juṣasva ||
Oh Vāstoṣpati, sé para nosotros salvador que conduce más allá; sé para nosotros aumento de vida con vacas y caballos, oh gozo semejante al Soma. Que en tu amistad seamos sin vejez; como un padre a sus hijos, acógenos, vueltos hacia ti.
