Sukta 7.40
नू रोदसी अभिष्टुते वसिष्ठैॠतावानो वरुणो मित्रो अग्निः । यच्छन्तु चन्द्रा उपमं नो अर्कं यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
nū rodasī abhiṣṭute vasiṣṭhaiḥ ṛtāvāno varuṇo mitro agniḥ | yacchantu candrā upamaṃ no arkaṃ yūyaṃ pāta svastíbhiḥ sadā naḥ ||
Ahora, cuando Cielo y Tierra son invocados por los Vasiṣṭha, que estén presentes Varuṇa, guardián de la Ṛta, Mitra, armonizador, y Agni. Que las potencias luminosas nos concedan el ark supremo, el himno de luz; y vosotros, oh dioses, guardadnos siempre con bienestar y tránsito seguro.
