Sukta 7.38
अपि ष्टुतः सविता देवो अस्तु यमा चिद्विश्वे वसवो गृणन्ति । स नः स्तोमान्नमस्यश्चनो धाद्विश्वेभिः पातु पायुभिर्नि सूरीन् ॥
ápi stu̱táḥ savitā́ devó astu yám ā́ cid víśve vásavo gṛṇánti | sá naḥ stómān namasyáś canó dhād víśvebhiḥ pātu pāyúbhir ní sūrī́n ||
Que Savitar, el dios, sea en verdad alabado — a quien incluso todos los Vasus cantan. Que él afiance para nosotros nuestros himnos y nuestros actos de reverencia; y que, con todas sus guardas, proteja a nuestros Sūrī, guías iluminados y buscadores.
