इमे हि ते ब्रह्मकृतः सुते सचा मधौ न मक्ष आसते । इन्द्रे कामं जरितारो वसूयवो रथे न पादमा दधुः ॥

imé hí te brahmakṛ́taḥ suté sacā́ mádhau ná mákṣa āsate | índre kā́maṃ jaritā́ro vasūyávo ráthe ná pā́dam ā́ dadhuḥ ||

Pues estos hacedores del himno, junto a tu Soma prensado, se sientan en compañía como en dulzura de miel. En Indra, deseando las riquezas, los cantores que buscan bienes han asentado su paso, como se pone el pie en el estribo del carro.
