Sukta 7.3
या वा ते सन्ति दाशुषे अधृष्टा गिरो वा याभिर्नृवतीरुरुष्याः । ताभिर्नः सूनो सहसो नि पाहि स्मत्सूरीञ्जरितॄञ्जातवेदः ॥
yā́ vā te sánti dāśúṣe ádhṛṣṭā gíro vā yā́bhir nṛ-vátīr uruṣyā́ḥ | tā́bhir naḥ sū́no sahaso ní pāhi smát sūrī́n jaritṝ́n jāta-vedaḥ ||
Cualesquiera que sean las expresiones invencibles que tienes para el dador — esas fuerzas de la palabra con las que ensanchas y proteges las energías varoniles—, con ellas guárdanos, oh Hijo de la Fuerza; aparta de nosotros a los jefes enemigos y a los cantores, oh Jātavedas.
