Sukta 7.29
उतो घा ते पुरुष्या इदासन्येषां पूर्वेषामशृणोॠषीणाम् । अधाहं त्वा मघवञ्जोहवीमि त्वं न इन्द्रासि प्रमतिः पितेव ॥
utó ghā́ te puruṣyā̀ íd āsan yéṣāṃ pū́rveṣām áśṛṇo ṛ́ṣīṇām | ádhāháṃ tvā maghavan johavīmi tváṃ na indrāsi prámatíḥ pitā́iva ||
Y en verdad tuyas fueron esas ayudas humanas, para los antiguos ṛṣi a quienes escuchaste. Por eso ahora te invoco, oh generoso (Maghavan): tú eres para nosotros, oh Indra, cuidado que guía y sabia previsión, como un padre.
