स्वादुषंसदः पितरो वयोधाः कृच्छ्रेश्रितः शक्तीवन्तो गभीराः । चित्रसेना इषुबला अमृध्राः सतोवीरा उरवो व्रातसाहाः ॥
svā́du-saṃsádaḥ pitáro vayaḥ-dhā́ḥ kṛ́cchra-śritáḥ śaktī́vanto gabhīrā́ḥ | citrá-senā iṣú-balā amṛ́dhrāḥ sató-vīrā urávo vrāta-sāhā́ḥ ||
Oh Padres, dulces en vuestra sesión, que sostenéis el aumento de nuestra fuerza vital; profundos y poderosos, firmes en la dificultad: de hueste variada, fuertes en la potencia de la flecha, sin traición; verdaderamente heroicos, amplios en el ser, vencedores de las bandas cerradas.
