Transliteration

víśveṣāṃ vaḥ satā́ṃ jyéṣṭhatamā gīrbhír mitrā́varuṇā vāvṛdhádhyai | sáṃ yā́ raśméva yámatūr yámiṣṭhā dvā́ janā́ṃ ásamā bāhúbhiḥ sváiḥ ||

Translation

Oh Mitra y Varuṇa, los más antiguos entre todos los seres de verdad, con palabras inspiradas buscamos acrecentaros. Vosotros dos, sin iguales, reunís y mantenéis unidos a los pueblos como con una rienda, con vuestros propios brazos poderosos.
