Sukta 6.3
ईजे यज्ञेभिः शशमे शमीभिॠधद्वारायाग्नये ददाश । एवा चन तं यशसामजुष्टिर्नांहो मर्तं नशते न प्रदृप्तिः ॥
ī́je yajñébhiḥ śaśamé śámībhiḥ ṛ́dhat-vārāyā́gnáye dadāśa | evā́ caná táṃ yaśásām ájuṣṭir nā́ṃho mártaṃ naśate ná pra-dṛ́ptiḥ ||
Ha rendido culto con sacrificios; se ha aquietado con armonías apaciguadoras; ha ofrecido a Agni, el de las puertas que se ensanchan. Así no alcanza a ese mortal ni el rechazo de los poderes gloriosos, ni la opresión (ā́ṃhas), ni la soberbia desmedida.
