यद्बंहिष्ठं नातिविधे सुदानू अच्छिद्रं शर्म भुवनस्य गोपा । तेन नो मित्रावरुणावविष्टं सिषासन्तो जिगीवांसः स्याम ॥

Transliteration

yád baṃhíṣṭhaṃ ná ati-vídhe sudānū́ ácchidraṃ śárma bhuvanásya gopā́ | téna no mitrāvaruṇāv aviṣṭaṃ siṣā́santo jigīvā́ṃsaḥ syāma ||

Translation

Aquel amparo más ancho, sin ser sobrepasado — íntegro, sin fisura — por el cual vosotros, dadivosos, guardáis el mundo como sus custodios: con él protegednos, oh Mitra y Varuṇa, para que nosotros, anhelando siempre hacia delante, seamos vencedores en vida.
