Sukta 5.34
यस्यावधीत्पितरं यस्य मातरं यस्य शक्रो भ्रातरं नात ईषते । वेतीद्वस्य प्रयता यतंकरो न किल्बिषादीषते वस्व आकरः ॥
yásyāvadhīt pitáraṃ yásya mātáraṃ yásya śakró bhrā́taraṃ nā́ta īṣate | vétīd v asya práyatā yatáṃkaro ná kílbiṣād īṣate vásva ā́karaḥ ||
Aquel que abatió al padre y aquel que abatió a la madre, ante quien ni siquiera un hermano se alza en resistencia: él, en verdad, conoce las fuerzas impulsadas hacia delante de este ser. Quien hace el esfuerzo (prayatá) recogido y uncido no teme la culpa ni el reproche (kilbiṣa); se vuelve mina de bienes (vasu), depósito de plenitud.
