Sukta 4.22
ता तू त इन्द्र महतो महानि विश्वेष्वित्सवनेषु प्रवाच्या । यच्छूर धृष्णो धृषता दधृष्वानहिं वज्रेण शवसाविवेषीः ॥
tā́ tū́ te indra maható mahā́ni víśveṣv ít sávanēṣu pra-vā́cyā | yác chū́ra dhṛṣṇó dhṛṣátā dadhṛṣvā́n áhīṃ vájreṇa śávasā́viveṣīḥ ||
Estas, en verdad, oh Indra, son tus grandes hazañas del Grande, dignas de ser proclamadas en todas las prensadas (del soma). Pues tú, oh héroe, osado con fuerza osada, enteramente intrépido, heriste a la serpiente con el vajra, por tu poder.
