यथायजो होत्रमग्ने पृथिव्या यथा दिवो जातवेदश्चिकित्वान् । एवानेन हविषा यक्षि देवान्मनुष्वद्यज्ञं प्र तिरेममद्य ॥

Transliteration

yáthā́yajo hotrám agne pṛthivyā́ yáthā́ divó jā́tavedas cikitvā́n | evā́néna havíṣā yakṣi devā́n manuṣvád yajñáṃ prá tirémám adyá ||

Translation

Como antaño, oh Agni, cumpliste en la tierra la función del hotar, y como desde el cielo, oh Jātavedas, lo hiciste con saber consciente — así ahora, con esta ofrenda (havis), sacrifica a los dioses a la manera humana; impulsa este yajña hacia adelante, más allá de su límite presente, hoy.
