Sukta 2.38
विश्वस्य हि श्रुष्टये देव ऊर्ध्वः प्र बाहवा पृथुपाणिः सिसर्ति । आपश्चिदस्य व्रत आ निमृग्रा अयं चिद्वातो रमते परिज्मन् ॥
víśvasya hí śruṣṭáye devá ūrdhváḥ prá bā́havā pṛthú-pāṇiḥ sísarti | ā́paś cid asya vratá ā́ ni-mṛ́grā ayáṃ cid vā́to ramate pári-jman ||
Pues para la escucha y la respuesta de todo, el dios se eleva hacia lo alto; de anchas manos, extiende sus brazos. Incluso las aguas se someten a su ley (vrata) y toman las formas que les han sido asignadas; incluso este viento se mueve con deleite alrededor de su recorrido.
