Sukta 2.32
अस्य मे द्यावापृथिवी ऋतायतो भूतमवित्री वचसः सिषासतः । ययोरायुः प्रतरं ते इदं पुर उपस्तुते वसूयुर्वां महो दधे ॥
asyá mé dyāvā-pṛthivī ṛtāyató bhūtám avitrī́ vácasaḥ sisāsatáḥ | yayór ā́yuḥ prá-taraṃ té idáṃ púra úpastute vasūyúrvāṃ mahó dadhé ||
Que para esta mi palabra el Cielo y la Tierra — que avanzan por la senda del ṛta — se vuelvan protectores, deseosos de fortalecer el Verbo. Ante esos dos, cuya vida va más adelante, coloco este antiguo canto de alabanza; buscando las plenitudes, hallé en vosotros una gran anchura.
