सुन्वन्ति सोमं रथिरासो अद्रयो निरस्य रसं गविषो दुहन्ति ते । दुहन्त्यूधरुपसेचनाय कं नरो हव्या न मर्जयन्त आसभिः ॥

Transliteration

sunvánti sómaṃ rathirā́so ádrayo nír asya rásaṃ gavíṣo duhanti té | duhánty ū́dhar upa-sécanāya káṃ naro havyā́ ná marjayanta ā́sabhiḥ ||

Translation

Prensan el Soma las piedras (adri), veloces en su movimiento; extrayendo su esencia, en busca de los rebaños luminosos, lo ordeñan. Ordeñan la ubre para el derrame; los varones fuertes pulen las ofrendas como si con la boca — haciendo la oblación, por dentro, apta para los dioses.
