Sukta 10.49
अहं सूर्यस्य परि याम्याशुभिः प्रैतशेभिर्वहमान ओजसा । यन्मा सावो मनुष आह निर्णिज ऋधक्कृषे दासं कृत्व्यं हथैः ॥
ahaṃ sū́ryasya pári yāmy āśúbhiḥ práitaśebhir váhamāna ójasā | yán mā sā́vo mánuṣa ā́ha nírṇije ṛ́dhak kṛ́ṣe dā́saṃ kṛ́tvyaṃ háthaiḥ ||
Yo giro en torno al Sol, llevado por poderes veloces, arrastrado por corceles luminosos, transportado por la fuerza. Cuando el impulsor humano me llama para la revelación del esplendor, separo y aplasto la oscuridad hostil—la que es digna de ser privada de poder—con golpes decisivos.
