Sukta 10.35
दिवस्पृथिव्योरव आ वृणीमहे मातॄन्त्सिन्धून्पर्वताञ्छर्यणावतः । अनागास्त्वं सूर्यमुषासमीमहे भद्रं सोमः सुवानो अद्या कृणोतु नः ॥
divás pṛthivyór áva ā́ vṛṇīmahe mātṝ́n sindhū́n párvatāñ char-yaṇā́vataḥ | anāgā́s tváṁ sū́ryam uṣā́sām īmahe bhadráṁ sómaḥ suvānáḥ adyā́ kṛṇotu naḥ ||
Del Cielo y de la Tierra escogemos para nosotros la protección salvadora; llamamos también a las Madres sustentadoras — los Ríos y las firmes Montañas, ricas en movimiento y fuerza. Oh Irreprochable, invocamos al Sol y a Uṣas dentro de nosotros; que Soma, prensado hoy, nos haga el Bien — una suerte auspiciosa.
