ábudhram u tyá índravanto agnáyo jyótir bháranta uṣáso vyùṣṭiṣu | mahī́ dyā́vāpṛthivī́ cetatām ápo 'dyá devā́nām áva ā́ vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

Han despertado — esos fuegos colmados de la fuerza de Indra — trayendo la luz en los despliegues de Uṣas. Que el vasto Cielo y la Tierra presten atención, y también las Aguas. Hoy escogemos el auxilio de los dioses, para que se alce el día interior.
