Sukta 10.28
एवा हि मां तवसं जज्ञुरुग्रं कर्मन्कर्मन्वृषणमिन्द्र देवाः । वधीं वृत्रं वज्रेण मन्दसानोऽप व्रजं महिना दाशुषे वम् ॥
evā́ hí māṃ tavásaṃ jajñúr ugráṃ kárman-karman vṛ́ṣaṇam indra devā́ḥ | vadhī́ṃ vṛtráṃ vájreṇa mandasā́nó 'pá vrajáṃ mahinā́ dāśúṣe vam ||
Así los dioses me engendraron, fuerte y fiero, toro de poder en cada acción, oh Indra. Maté a Vṛtra con el Vajra, en el arrobamiento; con mi grandeza abrí el redil para el dador (dāśuṣ).
