Sukta 1.94
यो विश्वतः सुप्रतीकः सदृङ्ङसि दूरे चित्सन्तळिदिवाति रोचसे । रात्र्याश्चिदन्धो अति देव पश्यस्यग्ने सख्ये मा रिषामा वयं तव ॥
yó viśvátas su-prátīkaḥ sa-dṛ́ṅ asi dūré cít sán taḷíd iva áti rocase | rā́tryāś cid ándho áti deva paśyasy ágne sakhyé mā́ riṣāmā vayáṃ táva ||
Tú, de rostro hermoso por todas partes, de visión igual, — aun desde lejos resplandeces más allá, como el rayo. Incluso a través de la ciega oscuridad de la noche, oh dios luminoso, tú ves. Oh Agni, en tu amistad, que no nos alcance daño — que estemos a salvo bajo tu poder.
