Sukta 1.89
पृषदश्वा मरुतः पृश्निमातरः शुभंयावानो विदथेषु जग्मयः । अग्निजिह्वा मनवः सूरचक्षसो विश्वे नो देवा अवसा गमन्निह ॥
pṛ́ṣad-aśvā marútaḥ pṛ́śni-mātaraḥ śubhaṃ-yā́vāno vidátheṣu jágmayaḥ | agní-jihvā mánavaḥ sū́ra-cakṣaso víśve no devā́ avásā gamann ihá ||
Que vengan los Maruts de corceles moteados, nacidos de Pṛśni, de bello avanzar, que acuden a las asambleas. Que aquí vengan a nosotros con su auxilio los Manavas, de lenguas de fuego y visión luminosa como el sol; que vengan todos los dioses.
