एह्यग्न इह होता नि षीदादब्धः सु पुरएता भवा नः । अवतां त्वा रोदसी विश्वमिन्वे यजा महे सौमनसाय देवान् ॥

Transliteration

éhya agne ihá hótā ní ṣīdā́dabdhaḥ sú puraetā bhavā naḥ | ávatāṃ tvā ródasī viśváminve yájā mahé sáumanasāya devā́n ||

Translation

Ven aquí, oh Agni; siéntate aquí como hotar, el inviolable; sé para nosotros el buen guía que va al frente. Que Cielo y Tierra, la pareja que impulsa todo, te sostengan. Sacrifica a los dioses para la gran armonía, la serena benevolencia de nuestra alma.
