Sukta 1.40
प्रैतु ब्रह्मणस्पतिः प्र देव्येतु सूनृता । अच्छा वीरं नर्यं पङ्क्तिराधसं देवा यज्ञं नयन्तु नः ॥
práitu bráhmaṇaspátiḥ prá devyétu sūnṛ́tā | ácchā vīráṃ náryaṃ paṅktí-rādhasam devā́ yajñáṃ nayantu naḥ ||
Que avance Brahmaṇaspati; que avance la sūnṛtā divina, la palabra verdadera y benéfica. Hacia el héroe, hacia la fuerza varonil y la plenitud ordenada (paṅkti-rādhas), que los Dioses conduzcan nuestro sacrificio y lo lleven a su cumplimiento.
