मित्रं न यं शिम्या गोषु गव्यवः स्वाध्यो विदथे अप्सु जीजनन् । अरेजेतां रोदसी पाजसा गिरा प्रति प्रियं यजतं जनुषामवः ॥

Transliteration

mitráṃ na yaṃ śimyā́ góṣu gavyávaḥ svā́dhyo vidáthe apsú jī́janan | árejetāṃ ródasī pā́jasā girā́ práti priyáṃ yajatáṃ januṣā́m ávaḥ ||

Translation

Como un Amigo — a quien los buscadores de los rebaños luminosos hacen nacer por su esfuerzo, según la ley propia en la asamblea, en las Aguas— así los dos Mundos tiemblan ante su fuerza. Con la palabra responden a la pareja amada y adorable — la tutela de los seres desde el nacimiento.
