Sukta 1.121
स्विध्मा यद्वनधितिरपस्यात्सूरो अध्वरे परि रोधना गोः । यद्ध प्रभासि कृत्व्याँ अनु द्यूननर्विशे पश्विषे तुराय ॥
svi-dhmá̄ yád vana-dhítir apasyá̄t sú̄ro adhvaré pári ródhanā góḥ | yád dha pra-bhá̄si kṛ́tvyāṃ ánu dyú̄n ánarviśe paśv-íṣe turá̄ya ||
En verdad, cuando la leña bien encendida (svidhmā) cumple su servicio, Sūrya, en el adhvara, gira en torno al cercado de la Vaca (Go). Y cuando resplandeces, siguiendo día tras día la labor que da forma, vienes para el aumento ininterrumpido y la rápida ganancia de los rebaños — para el hombre y para el ganado.
